This is one of my favorite scraps of my lil nephew, Buddy just because it shows him taking a bath. Now here’s the deal with Buds Wuds.. He HATES taking a bath! Hates it with a passion! Every time we ask him to jump into the tub, he says, “Noooo!! No shampoo!!” I understand how kids hate taking showers. I used to be like that when I was a kid too. But having a strict Dad around, saying no wasn’t an option. And it was worse cuz there was no such thing as a water heater back in the day!

Anyways, I like this scrap cuz not only is Buddy taking a bath, but he’s also smiling and looking very happy indeed with shampoo on his head! But mind you, I hadta actually drag all his lil toy friends in the bathtub and put shampoo on their heads as well! LOL! Still, I managed to make him all squeaky clean, an actual challenge everyday!

Have you ever had so many stuff in your head to blog about that you don’t even know where to start? You start typing a paragraph only to erase the whole thing after one or two sentences. Well, that’s happening to me at the moment. I’ve had two or three topics to jot about only to have it replaced with this silly post of random ramblings. I hate when this happens!!

I’ll get back to you guys when everything in my head is all sorted out and dealt with.. Darn!

Finally! The pics of my CNY celebration! I know it’s long overdue but who cares right? So enough with the chit chat… Here they are..The night before Chinese New Year, Mom decided to take us around town to see what the decorations were like.. I particularly liked the lights in Gaya Street. I thought they were magical..

The following day, all of us headed over to my Mom’s friend’s house. First off was Aunty Betty’s house… Too bad the food wasn’t so good. But we had that fun anyways.. Hey, at least we all received angpow!! Except for Shemah though..

Afterwards, we headed over to another friend of my Mom’s, Suzanna Liaw. There, we enjoyed a spectacular show of Tung Tung Chang (Lion Dance) or Kung Keng as Buddy calls it… Buddy was so scared to even go near the Kung Keng, so he just stayed inside the house.

And that’s pretty much how I celebrated Chinese New Year. It was a total blast. I had so much fun eating and receiving angpow! Even though Buddy was scared most of the time watching the super long Lion Dance, I’m sure he had as much fun as I did too. Hehe…

I’m supposed to update this blog with new updates on my Chinese New Year weekend that I just had, but since I’m not using Shemah’s lappie, I can’t upload any pictures. And I’m too lazy to transfer the pics onto this computer anways.

So instead of CNY pics, here’s a flashback of what went down on November 12th, 2006.

I know it’s kinda random but I stumbled upon these pics while I was browsing through some old photos in this old PC, and thought I’d share one of my fondest memories with you guys.

This was taken during one of Seri’s school field trips to…. hmmm.. I can’t remember the place but we were actually there to watch fireflies. It was really fun! Parents and sisters (that’s me!) were able to tag along so that’s what we did.. We tagged along on another boat. Shemah and I were as excited as the kids.. Hehe…

So yeah, that’s what we did on that day! The fireflies were absolutely gorgeous! Too bad we weren’t able to see any crocodiles.. There were lotsa monkeys though. That was fun.
