A few days ago my family was given the scare of our lives! Well, depending on how well you know the whole wiring of your house and how good you are as a technician, you might not have been as scared as we were. We knew zilch about any technical stuff so when sparks started dancing and shooting out of our cooking gas tank, we thought that our house was gonna explode! LOL! Since we had no idea what the heck was causing all the sparks and whether the gas tank had any connection with the wiring of the house, we decided to turn the gas tank off. So that night, no cooking was done and no one ate! Yup, no dinner for us! LOL!

Everything was fixed the next day after our gardener (cum handyman) decided to check out the real problem and found out that the hose connecting the gas tank to the stove was filled with oil. Don’t ask me where it came from but that’s how it was. So the hose was changed and my house didn’t explode! I’m not blogging from a dingy motel room. LOL!

And speaking of technical stuff, here’s what the new DB25 connector looks like.

Honestly, I have no idea what it is! If you’re as clueless as I am, you could read the press release about it! I should read it too. Just in case. Who knows, I might just be able to save my house from exploding!

Guess what people! My nephew came back from the hospital yesterday!!! Yayyyy!! We were all soooooo super duper happy!! After about a month of being at the hospital, he finally came back home yesterday and we’re now able to see him everyday! Butttt.. yeah, there’s a but.. He’s going back to the hospital on the 28th of this month to continue his treatment. I wish he didn’t hafta go back but then that’s how it’s gotta be to get him better and healthier.

Well, at least he’d still be at home to celebrate my birthday next week!! Yayyy!! I’m planning to do a big family gathering and I can’t wait to have everyone at home, finally! Since I came back about a month ago, we haven’t had a gathering where everyone was at home. Sometimes it was just the girls, and most of the time only one of the boys would be home. So this time, I’m hoping that everyone would be able to make it for my birthday celebration. I’m not asking for much, am I? It’s not like I’m asking for unlocked cell phones or anything random like that.. Simple get together is fine by me.. Which reminds me, I gotta order a cake. Yup, I’m gonna blow out candles this year! I’m so excited! Yippeeee!!

I think it’s true what they say about women being more serious than men when it comes to comedy or jokes because when I compare my girlfriends to my guyfriends, the guys tend to enjoy any type of humor whether it be dry, slapstick, or just plain dumb compared to the girls. I find it that girls tend to love comedy that doesn’t insult their intelligence. LOL! Not that I’m implying anything about the guys. Ehem!

But there are some movies out there that just gets my tickle bone going off like crazy and some of em can be considered kinda ’stupid’. One of em is Dumb and Dumber (how dumb of a movie can you get) and the other is White Chicks! These are two movies that I can watch over and over again and would still be able to crack me up like crazy. But when it comes to spoofs, gosh I just hate them!! I have a guyfriend who just lovesssss to watch spoofs. I just can’t understand it! Those movies are as useless as tv stands in a kitchen! No point! I know! He watched The Date Movie, The Epic Movie, Meet The Spartans, and loved all of em!! Whyyyyy??? I was only able to watch the first 15 minutes of all those movies and that was enough agony already!! Why laahh??

So yeah, I think women just choose to be more intellectually stimulated when it comes to comedy. Or do we just need to loosen up more??

Before I started blogging, I was a real nut for forums. I loved being part of a forum and giving out my points of view on certain topics.
