I’m all for the Redfish!

I’m up for sahur! Hehe.. Yeah right.. I wish I could say that I’m up for sahur because I’m fasting today but no… I’m up just because Rafiq is and I’m at his place using the Internet. We’re going into the second day of Ramadhan and my count of fasting days is still at a big fat 0! :( The crimson wave hit me just a day before yesterday and it’s also contributing to my pissiness!

I can’t wait until the tides of this crimson wave dies down so I could finally enjoy Ramadhan. Funny as it may seem, my favorite pastime during Ramadhan would be to watch any cooking show! I used to glue myself in front of any cooking show and just salivate myself to death. Shemah and I used to do that a lot. Now with AFC available, I’d definitely be glued to ‘Licence to Grill’! LOL!

And speaking of cooking, check out this Great American Seafood cook off that features 5 awesome dishes in the running to win a trip to New Orleans. I’ve got my bet on Chef John Currence from Mississippi with his Mississippi Redfish Courtboullion with Seafood Dirty Rice..

I don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for rice and anything that’s served in a rustic looking pot like that! Hehehe.. I guess I’m just old school like that! Go look at the other recipes at www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com if you wanna vote for the other dishes.

But just for the record, Go Chef John Currence~!! :D
