SuperStahhh

Just last week my friends and I were discussing how music labels nowadays tend to find their talents on social networks like MySpace or even YouTube. Our famous sexy Sabahan gal, Che ‘Nelle was discovered on MySpace and so was Sean Kingston. And how about Marie Digby who suddenly shot up to fame just by playing around with her guitar and sang for people on YouTube. When you think of it like that, it seems so easy to rise to fame, doesn’t it? Maybe I should get my harmonica, create a MySpace account and rock it on YouTube. Oh, but then again I don’t play the harmonica. And I don’t think harmonicas are cool anyways. But who knows those big shot music moghuls might like something fresh. Hehe. :P

This exclusive interview with John Esposito, the CEO of WEA, just confirms my belief that making it big in the music industry isn’t easy breezy. Don’t talk about making it big, even getting signed by a label is hard enough. Watch the interview to know what I’m talking about.

So.. hmmm.. how do I be a star? Maybe I should stick with acting. Singing was never my forte.
